The Profile of the Soul of a Small Town Church

Travel down U.S. 301 between Fayetteville and Dunn North Carolina and you will see a church nestled between cotton fields. Black's Chapel United Methodist Church was founded in 1879 in Godwin, North Carolina and is located at 10513 Dunn Road (US 301). Walk through the doors and you are stepping back in time. With its elegant stained glass windows and magnificent painting hanging in the front of the Chapel, Black's Chapel is a page out of the history books. Every Sunday at 11:00, you can find the regular congregation singing hymns. Black's Chapel has a feel all its own. Attendance usually ranges between 20 - 30. Each person makes you feel like you are a part of their family.

Sunday School Classes

We have Sunday school classes 9:30-10:30am.

*We now have a social gathering from 10:30am - 11:00am at which we have coffee and light refreshments. EVERYONE IS WELCOME!

Church Service

We meet for church service every Sunday from 11:00am - 12:00noon.

Family Night!

On the second Tuesday of each month, we are going to have Family Night at 6:30P at the Fellowship Hall. Please join us for great food and fellowship. John Weeks and his son Ed Weeks have been in charge of the meals and so far they have been fantastic!
